Hi how would I know if I'm anemic before I go to doctors and waste their time if I have no chance of being. It's just ages ago someone said I could be anemic cause I'm always so tired and feel weak and sick often. I always go to bed so early and don't get up that early. If I don't have too much schoolwork I go to bed before 10 every night and get up between 7.30-8. So normally I get like 10 hrs sleep but on weekends I sleep way more. Could I be anemic or could it be something else? Please hide the question. ThanksClick to Reveal Answer
I got my braces taken off around 9-10 months ago and ever since my jaw has been clicking when I chew, and last night my jaw started to get sore on one side the this morning the right part of my jaw where it end near the back of my ear is swollen! What does this mean?! It's really sore when pressure is put on it and I feel it going stiff now?!Click to Reveal Answer

I know why I rather wear men's clothes it's because I hate my figure and I prefer the look of men's clothes than womens. I'm not trying to be a boy or anything, I love being a girl it's just the clothes that is girls seem to 'have' to wear.. But I don't know how to tell my parents.. They aren't the 'supportive' or 'umderstanding' type :/Click to Reveal Answer
It will depend a lot on what kind of men's clothes you wear as to whether you will be able to convince your parents that you are okay to wear them. Parents hate their pretty girls wearing gangster type clothes and looking hard! They won't understand it and be afraid that you are trying to portray an image that is not a true one and maybe getting into gangs. You will know that this is not true but they will worry.
Think about why you don't like your figure, you will be going through your puberty so are maybe just not yet used to the new shape that you have.
You will be developing breasts and a more womanly shape that can be scary for some girls. They can feel, embarrased, uncomfortable, sometimes feel fat and would prefer the more boyish look that they had before.
Try sitting with your mum and quietly telling her how you feel. She will have gone through puberty so should understand what you are saying to her.
If you really cannot speak to her have you got another adult maybe a granny or an aunt who could help you to tell her how you feel?
This style of dressing may not last long, as you become confident in yourself you will be able to dress as you wish and hopefully in a way that will show off your new figure and please your mum.

I've got a problem. My friends and my parents say I'm too much of a tomboy and I like being who I am, but they force me into buying girly clothes that I don't feel comfortable wearing, and say if I go online shopping I look through all the girl clothes and hate everything but then I ho to the men's section and I love most of the clothes there! Men's clothing is so much more comfortable for me but how do I tell my parents that? Because all they do is get angry with me if I even try getting anything from the men's section.. I hate feeling like this.. I want to wear what I like :(Click to Reveal Answer
Mens clothes on women are more comfortable because women are a different shape so have much more room in mens clothes.
Think about why you do it, is it because you are more comfortable? is it because you are nervous about showing your figure and want to hide behind baggy clothes? Are you trying to tell your friends and parents that you would rather be a boy than a girl?
Sit down and speak to your parents, tell them why you want to dress the way you do.
You may be able to come to a compromise. If you want to wear trousers then wear a larger size in girls trousers than boys. Wear girls shirts instead of boys likewise with sweat tops, get dark coloured ones in a size bigger than you need.
This way you can appear to be wearing girls clothing instead of boys.
I have I really bad fear of the dentist I've been going all my life and have always feared it, tomorrow im getting a replaced filling and I'm so nervous like I hate injections the smells waiting the thought of loads of metal in my mouth I can deal kinda with it but ill just sit and stress myself about it until it's over how do I stop this cause I've stressed about it that I much I end up making myself feel sick with the thought of it:/Click to Reveal Answer
If you have always been to the dentist you will now have a good relationship with him/her.
You could have a chat and ask if there are any coping strategies that you can use to deal with this fear.
Injections and treatments are much better now and are virtually pain free. Your dentist could freeze your gum before an injection so you would not feel it.
Really work hard at looking after your teeth then you will not need fillings. Ask about seeing a dental hygienist to learn how to brush and floss correctly.
Keep occupied while you are waiting, take a book or a game to play while you are in the waiting room, deep breathing while you are in the chair will help keep you calm.
