Dundee Nova Service (mental health 16+)
The Dundee Nova Service is based in Dundee City Centre and works with adults aged 16+ experiencing mental health challenges across the area.
The Service provides flexible, person-centred and recovery-focused support. Individuals are offered one to one support and POWWOWS (Penumbra Workshops on Wellbeing).
The primary aim of the service is to promote social inclusion through community integration and involvement. Individuals supported by the service are encouraged to access mainstream activities and increase their social network, which is achieved through careful planning of the individual’s personal goals. This could include support in areas such as accessing leisure opportunities, education and work whether paid or voluntary.
Where possible zoom meeting are being carried out, for the time being, but in certain circumstances face to face meets will take place.
